Just a reminder to all Judo club members that Sensei Pennington is visiting our dojo tomorrow. He will be teaching us Sankaku techniques and variations. Please make sure you can attend this practice, trust me you will not want to miss it. Practice is May 31st 2013 at 6 pm – 9 pm. Come early (5:30 pm) to set up the mats, and prepare yourself to learn some awesome JUDO!

The next tournament is May 19th, 2013 in Santa Clara. For this tournament Santa Clara Judo club has asked our club to run a table. We are now training volunteers on the aspects of running a table (i.e score-keeping, timing, and pool running) this week. I have included the entry form for the tournament below.

Hello Judo Family,
The first practice at the new location was a complete success! Thank you to all who helped out with the move, all the hard work was greatly appreciated. Hopefully now with the new location at South Vallejo community center the judo club will continue to grow.
The club’s first monthly Shiai was also a great success! The new 2013 IJF scoreboard worked great. Thank you for all who participated in the shiai along with all the new referee and score-keeping trainees.
