Beginners Judo Class:
Wednesdays 5:00pm- 5:45pm (Ages 4-7)

This program is designed to introduce young children to the sport of Judo. A friendly atmosphere will be the foundation of the class. Your child will develop basic motor skills, social skills, self-awareness and awareness of others. The practice of Judo not only builds ones physical abilities, but also their mental. With Judo your child will build confidence and character. The program will focus on building the required skills necessary to progress to the Intermediate Judo program.

Intermediate Judo Class:
Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00pm- 7:15pm (Ages 8 years & up)

The class is focused on sound basic Judo principles. We stress proper etiquette, good sportsmanship, respect for others, and humility. Students will learn: Ukemi (falling), Nage Waza (throwing techniques), and Katame Waza (Grappling techniques). The emphasis of the class is on building skillful Judo techniques improving the physical and mental aspects of the Judoka (student). This program aims for the growth of personal character, increased self-confidence, self-discipline and enhanced sportsmanship. The physical training aspect of the Judo program improves strength, coordination, balance, speed, agility and endurance. This can be applied in competition and in everyday life.

Advanced Competitive Judo Class:
Mondays & Wednesdays 7:15pm- 8:30pm (Ages 8 years & up)

The class emphasizes on high level Kodokan and Olympic style competitive Judo. Students will learn: Nage Waza (throwing techniques), Katame Waza (Grappling techniques), Shime Waza (choking techniques), and Kansetsu Waza (joint lock techniques). We strive for top ranking competition on every level; Local, State, National and International. Judo as an Olympic sport is designed to test your physical and mental limits. It builds ones character to overcome any obstacles faced in training, competition and in everyday life.
